John Butler Trio Live at Olympia on 2007-10-10

This record is covering the 2nd Night of JBT show at Olympia Hall, Paris, France.
The setlist was the following:

Used to Get High
Company Sin
Something Gotta Give
Daniella
Pickapart
Gov did Nothing
Caroline
Valley
Loosing You
Ocean
Treat Your Mama
Grooving Slowly
Zebra
Good Excuse
___________

Peaches and Cream
Better Than
Funky Tonight

Except a cut during the encore break to change battery, everything is there.

This gig was brilliant. The setlist included “Valley”, which became rare, and presence of Nicky Bomba on “Gooving Slowly” and Kaki King on “Peaches and Cream” offer a slightly different version of those songs. “Good Excuse” is exceptional and “Funky Tonight” is, as always, tremendous.

Quality of this recording is quite good, even if the mics have to be hidden and that location was not perfect (right in front of right speakers, on first row). The crowd is as good as it shall be, gentle in quiet parts and expressive in loud parts.
